ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA MAKNA “SEKATEN” SEBAGAI SIMBOL BUDAYA KRATON YOGYAKARTA DAN MASYARAKAT YOGYAKARTA DALAM WISATA BUDAYA JAWA

The study explains that sekaten Ceremony which is held annually in order to welcome the birthday of Prophet Muhammad in which there is a procession or ritual before stepping on the peak of the Garebeg Maulud. The procession has significance that contain many messages to be understood by the palace and the surrounding communities.
